Vox's published R649 business fibre entry is lower than SureTel's standard R687. SureTel's bundled prices (R599 broadband, R700 FTTB) apply when you also take SureTel voice, and SureTel supports the line, your phones and your IT as one provider from Krugersdorp. See business fibre packages for every network and speed.
Second opinions
These are mostly consumer surveys, so they say more about home internet than business SLAs.
Before you sign
FTTH-based business broadband is the lowest-cost fibre. FTTB is built for business premises. Dedicated fibre is an uncontended line with stronger SLAs at a higher price.
Read the actual commitment: response and restore times, uptime percentage and whether service credits apply. “Best effort” means no committed restore time.
You need one for some VPNs, remote access and hosted services. Check whether it is included or a monthly extra.
Broadband fibre is shared with other users on the network; dedicated fibre is not. Ask how the provider manages busy-hour performance.
Fibre can still go down. LTE/5G or a microwave link keeps critical services online while a fault is repaired.
If your phones run over the internet, one provider for both line and voice avoids faults bouncing between suppliers.
Start with the coverage checker to see which networks reach your address, then compare business fibre options and SLAs. For a backup line, see LTE/5G backup or licensed microwave.

FAQ
There isn't one answer for every business. Most published ISP rankings are consumer surveys. For a business, compare which networks reach your address, the SLA, static IP, support hours, backup options and who supports your voice.
FTTH-based business broadband runs on residential-style fibre networks and is the lowest-cost option. FTTB (fibre to the business) is delivered to business premises. Dedicated fibre is an uncontended line with stronger SLAs and a higher price.
Vox publishes R649 a month for 30/30 Mbps excl. VAT, and the Vodacom Business website says from R549 a month (VAT not stated). SureTel business broadband starts from R687 (R599 bundled with voice) and FTTB from R1,300, excl. VAT. Dedicated fibre is published from R2,349 (Vox) and R4,695 (BitCo). Checked 6 November 2026.
Only if you run services that need a fixed address, such as some VPNs, remote access or hosted systems. Some providers include a /32 static IP, others charge monthly — check before you compare prices.
Look for a stated response and restore time, an uptime percentage and whether service credits apply. Best-effort products have no committed restore time, which may be fine for some offices but not for call centres or busy sites.
Neither lists a business fibre product, and Afrihost's terms say businesses can't sign up for its residential fibre packages. Look at providers with business fibre products and business SLAs.
